We know that you're all very exited to see the photos from our last photoshoot, and they are on their way. A few technical problems are making it rather difficult for us but those will be fixed soon. So don't worry we haven't forgotten =)

Since we don't have our studio yet it was a lot to prepare and we had to work hard to get everything ready. But we had a blast and we did the best we could. And we are more than happy with the results!

Getting our hands dirty...

Knock, Knock. 

As we are anxiously waiting to get our premisses, we have been focusing more on the theoretical assignments of the start-up. But yesterday we felt the need to express our creativity and got out there and got our hands dirrrty! 

(Don't take that literally... we would never get our hands dirty)

(That on the other hand is being ironic!)

We decided it was time to get additional hands-on knowledge within our field. Hence, we got styled, brought our camera and got out in Tingbjerg ready to utilized the beautiful area around us in order to have some fun and snap some cool pictures, using ourselves as the motive of course, for better or worse...

The summer is almost over, both the weather and the date on the calendar tells us so.
And it is therefore time for us to give you a small update.

After Roskilde we have both been two busy bees, since we also have a master thesis to write. But that wont keep us away from doing business!

We have just added a new part to the K'z and BO'z family - getpictured.com
This is going to be the webpage of our photo studio, where you can get all the information needed if you want your picture taken. The page will be up and running as soon as possible and of course we will let you know when its time.

Back from the Roskilde Festival

So... 

We are back from the Roskilde Festival. Safe and Sound (Well. Helle got a bit of a cold, but is recovering).

As we said we would, we did a pilot-project at the festival. It went well. However, not exactly as we planned. Either way, we learned a lot, and got some nice pictures taken, that are available at our webpage; www.kzandboz.com . This project ended up being useful since we now have some hands-on experience, and we also got to spread K'z and BO'z to the masses...  

We take what we learned with us, and will be more prepared for our next project. We are looking forward to what is to come and the challenges that awaits us!

K is back. K'z and BO'z is complete. And READY!

So K is finally back from her adventures in NY-land (New York), which means K'z and BO'z is once again complete, and more ready than ever!

Last Thursday was quite exiting, because it meant yet another advisor meeting. These meetings are always very inspirational, and this time both Bjarne, from Mindlift, and Miguel, from Zoomstory, joined in. The result of the meeting was the creation of  K'z and BO'z first project, which will be taking place at the Roskilde Festival. This is going to be our "pilot-project", i.e. our test-run before "the real deal", which is both exciting, scary and amazing!

The K in K'z and BO'z is back!!

Finally the door in the arrival gate opens and a recognizable face shows up, K'z and BO'z together again. After another 2,5 moth abroad, filled with great experiences it was time to come home and stay here. At least for a while, it is now time to get one step closer in the process of getting the business up and running.

Today we are facing a day filled with business talk and maybe also a bit of girls talk. You know that we can't help it, we are girls =)
But one thing is important to get on the agenda for today and that is how is this going to work and what is our next step?

Tomorrow we have another meeting with one of our advisors which we are looking forward to.

Once again Helles acting skills or ability to act normal was tested, this time on local TV (TV2 Lorry). A local politician and Helle were interview about a project at Tingbjerg Kollegiet. Where we hopefully will be able to get a office once we're ready to start.

In only two weeks K'z and BO'z will become one...hehe... as Koya is coming home from New York in the middle of June. Its Going to be great to be able to speak face to face and thereby no longer think of time difference and whether there is a good internet connection, even though that it can be a fun game to guess what the other one is saying then the sound suddenly disappear due to a poor connection. And it makes the suspense even greater when you how to wait to figure out what you have been saying yes to..hehe...

Homepage and homevideo

Hi Everybody, As you all know Koya is still in the big apple and therefore I decided to have a little fun of my own. I met up with one of our advisers so I could learn how to make a homepage, we thought it was about time to have one of those. We had already bought the domain and now we needed to have something on it.

I thought it would be a tough project and that my computer skills would be tested, but I was wrong. I met with the adviser in the morning and not long after we actually had a page published on the world wide web. Its amazing how easy it is, once you know how to do it. Then we came up with the great idea of creating a small video to post on the homepage just so I could learn how that worked and of course, I would be the star of it. It would not be my computer skills being tested that day but my acting skills...Suddenly I was quite thankful that I hadn't just grabbed whatever that lay first in my wardrobe and that I had looked myself in the mirror before leaving home. But there was only one thing left to do, act normal...argh....it only took me a few takes =)

Soon the editing began. An interesting process which ended with this delightful 16sec commercial for K'z and BO'z.

After all the hard work we had to take a break and what better way to do it than with lunch on a roof-terrace looking down on Copenhagen and enjoying the fruits of our labour.

Time difference, not a big problem!

We know that it has been a while since we uploaded a post, but some how time just flies right by you without you noticing it. Some people says that it is a good thing because that means that you're busy, and we are so it seems that they were right =)

As you know one half of us is in New York (Koya) while the other half is in Copenhagen (Helle). This sometimes makes it a bit difficult to arrange all the things we have to. But a big thanks to Skype, for making it possible and cheap for us to have business meetings.

At the moment we are working on a market analysis so we can investigate whether or not there actually is a market for what we want to do. We guess that some of you might be thinking "what are they actually going to do?" and you know what? we are not going to tell you just yet, you have to wait or just follow our journey and eventually we'll let you know ;)

Getting lost in the social media madness...

You all know how the talk goes...you need to have your business all over the social media in order to be up on the beat. So we thought, why not, let us in on the fun!

We started as you know by creating a Twitter account. Either of us have used Twitter before so we had to figure out how you follow people and how you make people follow you. It almost sounds like we are all a bunch of stalkers, but don't worry we're not =)
We still have at lot of things to do and organize so at the moment we keep it simple on Twitter, we give you updates when something interesting is happening.

Today we finally figured out how to create a page on Facebook. At first we wanted to create a separate account for K'z and BO'z but Facebook wouldn't let us, which was because we only were one year old. I guess it is a good thing that Facebook don't let anybody create an account and it does seem a bit suspicious if a one year old baby creates an account...so no hard feeling there.
Apparently the way to go it to create a page...and YEAH!! so we did...now it just needs to be updated with all the fun facts about our business and then it will be open for you guys. But we can already now reveal the name of the page, are you ready for it???

One step at the time...

It is hard to know what to write here exactly... 

We decided to start a business about a year ago, planing to do it when we finished our masters degree (Managing Creative Business Processes at Copenhagen Business School). However, we got this great idea and opportunity, so we are starting a bit earlier than planned. BUT this means we not only have to focus on K'z and Bo'z, but also on school (we are both in the process of writing our master thesis) and one of us is in New York, and the other one is working a bit back home as well. This will not slow us down though, if there is a will, there is a way! And honestly, combining many elements actually makes it even better!

We want to update this blog every day, but it depends on wheather we have any news to update it with! Now in the beginning there are a lot of administrative things to deal with, and they are honestly not all that interesting to write, or read about... We are now working on setting everything up: mails, social net work accounts (facebook, twitter, etc), a web-page, and so on! So that is where we are right now.

All this is very exciting for us. It is quite funny too, because you have this idea in your head, and you know that you are going to do it and you talk about it. But then it starts to happen, and you get surprised, because it is really happening. It is like: oh, darn, we are really starting a business. One thing is talking about it, even how real it feels, it doesn't really hit you until you are "kicked" right into it! And it is a scary, but oh, amazing feeling. A tingeling and thrilling feeling running through your veins!

At the risk of getting to worked up we better finish this post right here, but we will be back!

It is amazing how things can happen so fast and life takes another direction, just like that.

Up and running... ALMOST!

Lets say that this is our first official business meeting, even though K'z and BO'z was created a while ago. We "decided" (when we were to create a Facebook account about half an hour ago, we had to set a birth-date!) that the idea of having a busineess started sometime in January 2010 (during a study session of financial accouting), and has now evolved into K'z and BO'z.

We are soon leaving for a business meeting at Nörreport, so this post in unfortunately going to be quite short. BUT stay tuned. We WILL be back.
